1. How I came to know, my messages get delivered?

It's easy. We have a smart web panel which will provide all SMS Delivery details and information of your sent SMS in your Account itself.

2. What is a Sender ID ?

Sender ID is the Name which goes in the Header of the SMS . It can be 6 characters alphabets. Eg : BSTSMS. It can be your company name , product name , any names. Requests for Sender IDs are approved only after an authentication process.

3. What is the length of a SMS / What is a Credit and how many characters it includes ?

As Per TRAI SMS Length
For English Text Message
1-160 characters = 1 SMS Credit.
161-306 characters = 2 SMS Credits.
307-459 characters = 3 SMS Credits.

For Unicode Message
1-70 characters = 1 SMS Credit.
71-134 characters = 2 SMS Credits.
135-201 characters = 3 SMS Credits.

4. How much SMS I can send at once ?

There is no limit on the number of sms to be send at once, but we recommend to send maximum of 10,000 SMS at once if you want to.

5. What is the meaning of different status in the delivery reports?

1. Submitted- This status is displayed when SMS are submitted to our operator.

2. Sent/Pending - Sent/Pending is shown when SMS is forwarded from our operator but they still need approval from the operator on your end.

3. Delivered- When the messages are received by the user successfully, delivered is displayed.

4. Failed- A message can fail due to different reasons and stops it from getting delivered.

5. Blocked number- If a number is blacklisted then the SMS will not be delivered to that number.

6. Opt-out - This is shown when an opt-out SMS is sent

6. What are the reasons behind a failed message?

1. EXP Abssubs - Subscriber is not available at that time

2. EXP Memexcd - Inbox memory is full or exceeded

3. EXP Smstmout - SMS timeout after all retry

4. EXP Nwfail - Network failed

5. NUMBER TEMPORARILY UNAVAILABLE- Number out of coverage area/ Switched off

6. CALL BARRED- The recipient cannot receive incoming messages

7. SBSCRIBR BSY FOR MT SMS- Congestion encountered at the visited MSC or the SGSN

8. TLESERVCE NOT PROVSND- Recipient MS has no SMS subscription.

9. Services temporarily blocked- Terminated due to mobile subscriber operator (services blocked by the network operator)

7. What is API / Developer API ?

API's are the interface between different Software Systems to send SMS using our Solution.Our HTTP based API extends our sms functionalities by allowing you to integrate the sms features with your Web and Desktop applications.

8. Can I send sms in multiple languages like Hindi, Marathi etc ?

Yes, by using our advance system you can send SMS in multiple languages very easily, but please note that SMS Credits for regional languages i.e hindi, marathi are different which means 1 Hindi SMS credit will not be 160 chars. Please clarify with the support team.

9. What is DND Mobile Numbers and do you deliver SMS to the DND Numbers ?

Mobile numbers which is registered with NDNC (National Do Not Call Numbers) registry called DND numbers. Promotional or Marketing SMS are not allowed to be send on DND numbers. (TRAI Policy.). Pushing promotional SMS on DND number is illegal and TRAI has imposed heavy penalties on the same. We purely work as per the government policy. No false commitments.

10. What is the difference between User and Reseller ?

Users can send SMS from Web Panel, API . But Resellers apart from sending sms can also sell SMS to their own customers.They will be provided with admin rights so that they can manage their own users.
